In Everything Give Thanks

On Thanksgiving we. . .

started the day off with some cartoons. . .

played a little soccer (for about five minutes because WES was complaining about the stickers in the grass!!! Good grief!). . .

chased some birds. . .

scared Mommy half to death, I mean, played at the park. . .

and, of course, pigged out.

Our first Thanksgiving away from family turned out to be wonderful and relaxing. The turkey was a success (thanks, Mom for teaching me how to make one) and Ben even told me it was the best Thanksgiving ever. Sammy said I’m the best cook in the world. And Grace, well she just wanted pie. I can’t take all the credit for dinner though. Wes did wash the turkey.

We were so thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving as a family this year. The next morning Wes had to leave for Tinker AFB for the rest of his training. No black Friday shopping for us this time. We were on our way to the airport at 6 a.m.

A few last hugs for Daddy,

and he’s out of Florida for good. We miss you, babe.

Here’s a little something to remember Florida by. . .

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (bolding mine)
